Anacortes High School
Anacortes High School is currently undergoing a multi-phased replacement and modernization on an occupied site. It is being completed under the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GCCM) delivery method. The first phase was Rice Field, a new state-of-the-art athletic complex, which opened in 2016. The second phase, currently under construction, is a new, two-story addition which includes classrooms, the commons and kitchen, and the library. Flex spaces are located in the hallways to encourage group work, tutoring, and socializing. The third phase of the project will be modernizing Brodiak Auditorium, the music classrooms and the gymnasium along with adding career and technical education (CTE) classrooms filled with the latest tools and technology. The new Anacortes High School will be a highly sustainable and filled with the latest 21st-century technology.
