“Their enthusiasm for ‘our project’ and their quick response to changes made it a rewarding experience. Their flexibility in working around the schedule of a principal’s daily life demonstrated their sense of value in education and in my sanity!”

June Shirey, Director of Alternative Education
Snohomish School District

In order for Centennial Middle School to meet Snohomish School District’s educational specifications, it needed to go through a major modernization and addition. The update allowed learning communities, a science wing, a new classroom wing, health & fitness building, and a new cafeteria to be added to the original middle school. The new science labs are filled with up-to-date equipment and the latest technology. Each lab features a teacher demonstration area to easily allow students to view the activity on display. The new buildings include elements that respect the surrounding environment with minimal site disruption. Each part of the building exceeds Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP) using high performance insulated walls and roofs, ground source geothermal wells, natural ventilation and abundant daylighting.
