Hal Beumel, Former Director of Construction
Everett Public Schools

One of the primary goals for Silver Lake Elementary School was to provide a new welcoming, identifiable main entry. Inside, the administration area remains in its original location. With a small addition, the office now includes four offices, two conference rooms, health room, workroom, restrooms, and a staff lounge. The existing library was updated with a ceiling raised to provide an open, inviting atmosphere. The reorganization of the space allowed a new computer lab that can be easily monitored by library staff. A new gymnasium, cafeteria and state/music classroom have been added on the other side of the campus which now allows the school to function more efficiently.
